Taking care of your candle
Always do the first burn properly — let the entire top layer of wax melt to the jar edges (2–3 hours). Skipping this causes tunneling on all future burns.💡 Trim your wick to ¼ inch before every burn.
Trim to ¼ inch before every burn. This prevents mushrooming, reduces soot, and gives a cleaner flame. Never burn with a wick longer than ½ inch.
Minimum 1 hour, maximum 4 hours per session. After 4 hours, let the candle cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.
Almost always caused by an untrimmed wick. Trim to ¼ inch before every burn. Drafts from open windows also cause soot. Wipe with a damp cloth once cooled and relight.
Never blow out your candle — it causes smoke. Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax with a wick dipper, then straighten it back up.
When ½ inch of wax remains, stop burning. Pour boiling water into the jar — wax floats to the top. Remove it, pour out water, wash with soapy water. Reuse as a planter or storage!💡 Our jars are designed to be kept forever.
🌿 Ingredients
What’s in every candle
100% natural soy wax. It burns cleaner, longer and cooler than paraffin. Biodegradable and renewable — you will never find paraffin in a CXNDLX candle.
Yes — all fragrance oils are phthalate-free and tested for safety. No harmful chemicals or carcinogens. We never use synthetic dyes either.
Our candles have no toxic chemicals or paraffin. However some fragrance ingredients can be sensitive for animals, especially cats. Burn in ventilated rooms and consult your vet if unsure.
White spots or “frosting” is completely normal in natural soy wax. It proves your candle is made with real 100% soy — not synthetic paraffin. It does not affect scent or burn quality.
